Pearl is bleached from its Natural Beige color, and Turquoise is stabilized for durability. Necklaces and Bracelets are finished in you choice of 14kt gold filled Clasps. Rhinestones are set in gold plated rondelle settings. For durability, Jill
uses 14ktgf chain and 12ktgf wire to support the body of some pieces. More detailed definitions are described, below.

About Precious and Semi-Precious Metals:
Jill's S-Hook Clasps are made of 12kt gold filled metal.
Gold Filled items are made by combining a layer or layers of gold alloy to a base metal (usually brass), then rolling
or drawing the metal to the desired thickness and shape. Jill prefers to use 12ktgf &14ktgf in her designs for its beauty and durability.
Sterling Silver is made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper or other alloy, proportions fixed by law.
SS will patina over time and take on a darker, antique look.
Special cleaners can be used to keep your SS its brightest, but should be used very carefully near gemstones and pearls as it can etch or dull them from direct contact.
The magnetic clasps we offer for bracelets are Sterling Silver and Gold Filled.
